This painting represents two personalities conflicting with each other. They tried to blend but burst with so much energy, almost as powerful as a thunder strike. The lightning is also like an irreparable crack crossing the paper, indicating that there is no coming back to the perfection of what it was before. I learned that sometimes it is better to accept the differences between people, the ugliness in the relationship, and the reality that we are better off apart. Looking at this painting, I see reality, and I am finally able to let it go. Time will heal :)
