Hello and welcome!

I'm Luna, an artist based in Belgium, with a unique background in both science and art. I am a consultant in life science, while I hold a PhD in Biomedicine and Pharmaceutical Science, my true passion for art has never changed. As a child, I had a love for painting, but life took me on a different path, and I didn't get a chance to fully explore the art world (moreover, my family could not afford supporting me to go to an art school). Nevertheless, I kept my love for art alive, while seeking for academic achievements. And in 2019, I picked up my passion for art and began the journey with watercolors.

My focus is on watercolor and mixed media paintings because they allow me to express emotions and preserve memories in a free-flowing way. Whether it's a cherished pet, a special family home, or a beloved person, my aim is to bring those memories to life through my art.

Painting has always been my refuge, providing a sense of calm and inner peace. I'm grateful to share this tranquil experience with others through my art. Inspiration is all around us, and I strive to infuse that same sense of inspiration into my paintings.

I deeply believe that treasured memories should be cherished and celebrated. With each gentle stroke of the brush, I seek to capture the essence of those special moments and create timeless reminders of love and joy.
