Lonely Tree (Original Painting)

This tree was me. I felt lost in the dark, alone, with the thunder almost hitting me. Nothing seemed to be going well. However, the thunder woke me up, reminding me that I couldn't stay in this depression forever. I borrowed its energy, mustering courage to grow from the loneliness and darkness.
